WIZZ AIR DELIVERED 8.4% TRAFFIC GROWTH IN MARCH DESPITE MIDDLE EAST CUTS AND CONTINUED TO EXPAND IN ITALY AND CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE

Geneva, 2 April 2026: Wizz Air Holdings Plc ("Wizz Air") reports 8.4% year-on-year passenger growth in March 2026.
Wizz Air carried 5.51 million passengers in March, with capacity rising 9.1% to 6.12 million seats. The load factor for the month was 90.0%, down 0.5 ppts year-over-year.
During the month:
· Târgu Mureș base reopened: Wizz Air officially reopened its base on March 31st, with one based A320neo. The airline now offers 10 routes to eight countries from "Transylvania" International Airport, including fights to Milan Bergamo and Rome Fiumicino, Brussels Charleroi, Paris Beauvais, Dortmund and Memmingen and London Luton.
· Podgorica base opened: March 30th marked an important milestone in Wizz Air's expansion in the region, underlining Montenegro as a key market, with 17 international routes now operating from the capitol to connect the region with the rest of Europe.
· Continued growth of Italian bases: Wizz Air confirmed the allocations of its 10th based aircraft to Milan Malpensa and 17th to Rome Fiumicino, both from October 2026. Simultaneously, it also announced the allocation of its 4th based aircraft to Venice from September 2026. Its total market share in Italy, in terms of originating seats, reached circa 11 per cent for the full fiscal year ending March 2026 (ranked second largest overall). source: Innovata and Wizz Air data.
· New ancillary revenue stream: Wizz Air has deployed Bluetooth enabled in-seat ordering across its fleet. Passengers who download the Wizz Air mobile app before travelling can browse and purchase food, beverages and boutique products directly from their own devices, even without internet access.
